WWE Considering Bizarre “Outside-The-Box” Idea For WrestleMania Weekend

WWE is reportedly discussing an unconventional new event for WrestleMania 41 weekend, adding another must-watch show to the already stacked lineup. The idea? A “Roast of WrestleMania”, featuring comedian Tony Hinchcliffe.
WrestleMania 41 Set for Las Vegas
WrestleMania 41 will take place on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada—marking the second time the iconic event has landed in the Las Vegas area. The last time WrestleMania was held in Vegas was WrestleMania IX in 1993, at Caesars Palace.
The weekend schedule is already packed:
✔️ April 18 – WWE SmackDown & Hall of Fame ceremony (Fontainebleau Las Vegas)
✔️ April 19 (Afternoon) – NXT Stand & Deliver
✔️ April 19-20 (Night) – WrestleMania 41
✔️ April 21 – Raw After WrestleMania
Now, WWE is reportedly considering a new post-WrestleMania event—one that’s totally different from anything they’ve done before.
WWE Planning a Roast of WrestleMania?
According to WrestleVotes, WWE has discussed running an “outside-the-box” idea on April 20, 2025, in Las Vegas. The concept? A comedic roast of WrestleMania, hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe, a well-known stand-up comedian and podcast host.
"According to a well-placed source, WWE has discussed an ‘outside-the-box’ idea of running a post-WrestleMania event in Las Vegas on Sunday night, 4/20. We’re told the concept would be ‘The Roast of WrestleMania,’ featuring comedic megastar Tony Hinchcliffe."
This would mark a major departure from WWE’s usual programming, introducing a comedy-based event that could poke fun at WrestleMania moments, WWE Superstars, and legendary storylines.
WWE Hall of Fame Gets a Standalone Ceremony
Another big change for WrestleMania weekend? The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be a standalone event for the first time in years. Set for April 18 at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the 2025 Hall of Fame class already includes:
🏆 Triple H
🏆 Michelle McCool
🏆 Lex Luger
🏆 The Natural Disasters (Typhoon & Earthquake)
Will WWE Actually Do the Roast?
WWE has experimented with unique WrestleMania weekend events in the past, but this Roast of WrestleMania would be unlike anything the company has done before. If it happens, fans could expect hilarious jokes, celebrity appearances, and WWE Superstars getting roasted on stage.
