Logan Paul Reveals Why WWE Fans Booing Him Left Him Upset

Logan Paul’s journey in WWE has been anything but ordinary. Initially brought in as a celebrity babyface, Paul quickly realized that his controversial past made it difficult for fans to embrace him. As boos grew louder, the social media megastar had to adapt—and that transformation led to him becoming one of WWE’s most effective heels.
Logan Paul Struggled with Being Booed
During a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul opened up about a defining moment in his WWE career—being booed in his hometown of Cleveland. The reaction genuinely bothered him at first, as he felt fans didn’t respect his abilities.
“I went backstage to Bruce [Prichard] and was like, ‘Do they understand that I could get out of that ring and pull any single one of them out and beat the f**ing sht out of them? It hurt my feelings. Booed in my hometown.”
At first, Paul didn’t understand why fans reacted this way. But over time, he realized that he could use their negativity to enhance his character. Instead of fighting the boos, he embraced them.
Logan Paul Found Power in Being a Heel
Once Paul fully leaned into his heel persona, he saw how much control he could have over a live crowd.
“Something happened where a switch flipped. I realized how much power there was in being able to puppeteer and really artfully manipulate the crowd to play on the exact emotion you want them to feel.”
Now, rather than fighting against fan hostility, he enjoys it—playing into their anger by insulting their favorite Superstars and mocking their cities.
“Truthfully, at this point, I can never imagine being a babyface. I have no interest in it. I am in my pocket at the moment. I love it.”
WWE Legends Praise Logan Paul’s Growth
Logan Paul’s dedication to improving as a performer has earned him praise from veterans of the business. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently called Paul one of the best listeners in wrestling, noting that he absorbs advice and applies it better than many rookies.
With Paul now fully embracing his role as a villain, he has become one of WWE’s most compelling characters—proving that sometimes, the best way to win over the crowd is to make them hate you.
